Description: We had a very interesting and well attended entrepreneurship panel in New York City at the Levin Institute. INSEAD's successful technology entrepreneurs, Kevin Ryan, Alexandre Douzet, and Paul Forster gathered with Bain Capital Ventures Group's Daniel Allen on a panel in New York on May 13, to discuss future business trends and successful strategies for the Internet. Moderated by Henry Blodget, CEO and editor-in-chief of Silicon Alley Insider, the panel explored the Internet's future impact on business, and how understanding the Internet's future uses is essential to a company's successful strategy and execution. Titled “The Future of the Internet”, as all of the entrepreneurs were internet entrepreneurs, the panel mostly consisted of rather exciting business lessons and entertaining in the trench stories of being an entrepreneur with the internet and new media, and what direction we will see as emerging business models over the next few years due to the Internet. The Q&A questions did not stop, as the panelists and audience adjourned to Papillion, a nearby French bar and bistro, to continue the conversations late into the evening. A great event, I have been receiving e-mails non-stop about how much everyone enjoyed the panelists, the event, and each other’s company.
